Kyle Cox's Big Game Leads Sandhills/Thedford over Brady
Kyle Cox was instrumental in extending Sandhills/Thedford's winning streak to 15 on Friday. Cox turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 153 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 51 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 19th straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Cox is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Mullen on Thursday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Cox saw the Broncos), he rushed for 286 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 78 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.

Jesse Reyes posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 167 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.
Maxwell dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats challenges Bayard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Alex Werner posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (113) per game.
Werner and Mullen are taking a road trip to take on Sandhills/Thedford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Werner will face off against Maurice Robinson, the Knights' star rusher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Underclassman Beau Rice Comes Up Big Against Bayard
Underclassman Beau Rice came into Thursday's contest looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. He did his part (and then some), rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also picking up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. His longest reception was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
The win got Hyannis back to even at 3-3. Rice and Hyannis will head out on the road to take on Brady at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Tate Kvanvig Dazzles in Mullen Win
Another Mullen player making an appearance on this list is Tate Kvanvig. He rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Kvanvig and Mullen will square off against Sandhills/Thedford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Kvanvig up against the Knights' star rusher Maurice Robinson. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
