Ka'u had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their match against Pahoa on Thursday 20-6. Ka'u have a history of success against Pahoa, winning their last head-to-head 20-6.
The win got Ka'u out to a 1-0 start for the season. The defeat dropped Pahoa's record to 1-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Ka'u will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Kohala. Ka'u will be strutting in after a victory while Kohala will be stumbling in from a loss. Pahoa will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Kohala in two weeks at 1:00 PM.
