The Pine Creek Eagles will face off against the Lebanon Warriors at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Pine Creek put up the most runs they have all season on Thursday. They fell just short of Cheyenne Mountain by a score of 20-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since March 20, 2025.
Troy Peerey led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Tristan Mullis, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, while Lebanon put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Centennial. The Warriors put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 12-0 win.
Trey Enright and Preston Bryan made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Enright pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Bryan struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. At the plate, Enright got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Bryan went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Carson Quigley and Niko Autry did most of the damage at the plate: Quigley went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Autry went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Autry has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Jenkins, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Lebanon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Centennial only posted an OBP of .235.
Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pine Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
