The West Noble Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against East Noble, falling 50-19. While losing is never fun, West Noble can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while East Noble is ranked 104th).
Despite the loss, West Noble still got an impressive performance from Alexia Mast, who scored 11 points along with five steals. Mast is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.
It was another big night for Payton Quake, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds for East Noble. The team also got some help courtesy of Rian David, who scored nine points.
West Noble dropped their record down to 2-19 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for East Noble, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
West Noble will square off against NorthWood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Noble, they will head out on the road to square off against Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
