Newington faced Enfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Nor'easters fell  3-1 to the Eagles. The Nor'easters were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won  1-0.

 Among those leading the charge was   Nathan Merrill, who  had ten  digs. That's the most  digs  he has posted  over his last six  matches.

As for Enfield, they will challenge Farmington at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The River Hawks will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
