When it comes to explaining why Morse lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gage Suitter. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points. Trace McFarland was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Morse's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lincoln Academy, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season.
