The Enterprise Wildcats and the South Walton Seahawks will face off at 7:15 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Enterprise is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Enterprise beat Holmes County 46-42. Given Enterprise's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 21st in Alabama, while Holmes County is ranked 204th in Florida), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
South Walton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 24 points or more this season. They blew past Arnold, posting a 51-24 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but South Walton sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Enterprise's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for South Walton, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Enterprise beat South Walton 43-35 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Enterprise since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
