Having just played yesterday, the Father Capodanno Grunts will get right back to it and host the Star Christian Academy Golden Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Father Capodanno has three straight wins, Star Christian Academy has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Thursday, everything came up roses for Father Capodanno at home against New Life Christian Academy as the team secured a 54-7 victory.
Luke Moon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Braedon Hudson, who scored four points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Star Christian Academy suffered a rough 67-47 defeat at the hands of Father Capodanno two weeks ago.
Father Capodanno pushed their record up to 7-15 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Star Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
Everything went Father Capodanno's way against Star Christian Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago as Father Capodanno made off with a 67-47 victory.
