The Panther Creek Catamounts will head out on the road to face off against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Panther Creek's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Even though Jordan scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, Panther Creek still came out on top. Panther Creek blew past Jordan, posting a 89-57 victory on the road.
Panther Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Ware led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. The matchup was Ware's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chris Uwayo, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 assists.
Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh came up short against GRACE Christian last Friday and fell 54-43.
Leesville Road's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Panther Creek's loss dropped theirs to 1-1.
Panther Creek strolled past Southeast Raleigh when the teams last played back in November of 2022 by a score of 80-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for Panther Creek since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
