They took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-8 win over C.A. Johnson. That looming 52-8 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Eau Claire yet this season.
Eau Claire was led to victory by Milaysha Chisholm and Destinee Tiller. Chisholm dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Tiller dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Tiller has scored at least 25% of Eau Claire's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quindia Nelson, who scored six points.
Eau Claire now has a winning record of 6-5. As for C.A. Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eau Claire is on the road again on Saturday and play against Ben Lippen at 1:00 p.m. on January 6th. As for C.A. Johnson, they will take on Lewisville at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lewisville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday.
