The Eau Claire Shamrocks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season. They took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-8 win over C.A. Johnson. That looming 52-8 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Eau Claire yet this season.
Eau Claire was led to victory by Milaysha Chisholm and Destinee Tiller. Chisholm dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Tiller dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Tiller has scored at least 25% of Eau Claire's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quindia Nelson, who scored six points.
Eau Claire now has a winning record of 6-5. As for C.A. Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eau Claire is on the road again on Saturday and play against Ben Lippen at 1:00 p.m. on January 6th. As for C.A. Johnson, they will take on Lewisville at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lewisville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday.
