Shenandoah lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Shadyside, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's matchup. The Zeps put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 9-3 win on Wednesday. The Zeps not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 1, 2024 (when they won 11-1).

Hunter Street made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Street was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Peyton Forshey and Dakoda Rich did most of the damage at the plate: Forshey went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Rich went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Landon Moore, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Shenandoah's victory bumped their record up to 2-16. As for Shadyside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Coming up, Shenandoah will look to defend their home field on Friday against Marietta at 5:00 p.m. As for Shadyside, they will head out to square off against Clay-Battelle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
