Columbus North had won ten straight games and Nathan Enneking did his part to make it 11 on Saturday. The Columbus North Bull Dogs had just enough and edged out the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs 54-52 for which the team can thank Enneking, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 15 points in addition to six assists and three steals. That's the most assists he has posted since back in February of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Long, who put up eight points and four blocks. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last nine games he's played.

Franklin Community lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jayce Nielson, who shot 63% from the field en route to 11 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Tony Barnes, who earned 11 points and five boards.

Columbus North's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Franklin Community, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Columbus North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-41 win against Center Grove on the 27th. As for Franklin Community, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-72 victory against Jennings County on the 28th.
