McMichael is facing Rockingham County at the wrong time: Rockingham County suffered their first home loss of the season on Tuesday and they're likely out for redemption. Lindsay Redmon made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Olivia Wilson was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Ava Harris was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rockingham County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352. However, it's not like McMichael struggles in that department as they've averaged .470. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
