Godwin posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 56-23 victory over Maggie Walker. 56 seems to be a good number for Godwin as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Glen Allen pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Thomas Jefferson by a score of 58-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Glen Allen has suffered yet this season.
Despite the defeat, Glen Allen saw an underclassman step up: Faron Friend scored 24 points. That was a full 43.6% of Glen Allen's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kamden Tiller, who scored 13 points.
Godwin has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Glen Allen, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
