A well-balanced attack led Carver A&T over Lansdowne in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. The Carver A&T Wildcats put the hurt on the Lansdowne Vikings with a sharp 47-24 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 23 points or more this season.

Elisah Guity was a one-woman wrecking crew for Carver A&T as she posted 24 points. Laila Brandon was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Carver A&T has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33 points. As for Lansdowne, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Carver A&T and Eastern Tech will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Carver A&T's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Eastern Tech's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lansdowne, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Owings Mills at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
