Roosevelt won the last time they faced Arlington and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Lions. Considering the Mustangs have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Roosevelt and bumps their season record up to 13-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Arlington, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-5 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will head out to challenge King at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arlington, they will venture away from home to take on Canyon Springs at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.8, the Cougars 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
