Given Lake Travis' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Anderson is ranked 692nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jayden Thomas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Chas Biegel was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Lake Travis and bumps their season record up to 25-4. As for Anderson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-25.
Lake Travis will head out on the road to challenge Dripping Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dripping Springs is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Anderson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Del Valle at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Valle is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
