Senatobia had a rough outing against Pontotoc last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Everything went Senatobia's way against Independence on Friday as they made off with a 44-12 win. That result is just more of the same for Senatobia, who also won the last time these teams played.
Senatobia's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 35 points in the first half. Independence came up with 6 to make it 35-6 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for Senatobia in the second half, holding Independence to a measly 6 points. The victory bumped Senatobia's record up to 0-2. The loss dropped Independence back to even at 1-1.
Next week, Senatobia take on Charleston . Independence will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Byhalia at Camo Out & Military Appreciation Game at 7:00 PM.
