It was a good run, but The Roosevelt Roughriders unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 36-8 loss at the hands of Wells. The low total for Roosevelt limited their streak of high-flying scores to four in a row.
It was another big night for Wyatt Andler, who rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns.
Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Wells, their victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will challenge Grant on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (Grant is ranked 79th, while Roosevelt is ranked 60th). As for Wells, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin on Friday. Franklin and Wells are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
