Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lamar walked away with it. They blew past the Butler Bears, posting a 55-21 victory. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win (which was Lamar's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.3 points over those games. As for Butler, they moved to 6-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Lamar will challenge Holden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Butler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
