After only seven points in their last game, Citrus Hill made sure to put some points up on the board against Perris on Friday. The Hawks enjoyed a cozy 39-23 win over the Panthers. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 28-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

John Guitron threw for 108 yards and one TD. Noe Lara was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards. On the ground, Cody Bowie rushed for 143 yards and three scores on only 11 carries.

Citrus Hill's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Perris, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Citrus Hill will host Canyon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Perris, they are taking a road trip to face off against Moreno Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
