The Rock Hill Bearcats will be playing at home against the Spartanburg Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Rock Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a serious blow against Clover, falling 58-21.
Spartanburg can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-14 margin over Dorman. The result was nothing new for Spartanburg, who have now won three games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Spartanburg found their leader in underclassman Trenton Lynch, who rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Lynch really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run. Spartanburg also got help from Justin Rice who showed off his sure hands for 81 receiving yards.
Spartanburg's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. Dorman's QB won't forget Christian Roberts anytime soon given Roberts sacked him eight times.
Clover's victory bumped their season record to 8-2 while Rock Hill's defeat dropped theirs to 6-4.
