The Estacada Rangers will venture away from home to square off against the Lebanon Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Estacada has four straight victories, Lebanon has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Estacada will bounce into Monday's game after beating Astoria, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Rangers were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Fishermen on Friday. The matchup marked the Rangers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Will Olson and Connor Abbott made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Olson pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Abbott pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Olson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Olson went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Abbott scored a run while going 2-for-3. Olson also hit a triple, marking his first of the season.
In other batting news, Liam Johnston was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Davin Olson, who scored three runs while going 1-for-2.
Estacada always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Astoria only posted an OBP of .321.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Lebanon's offense. They fell 5-0 to Bend on Thursday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.
Lebanon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Enright, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Estacada, their record now sits at 5-2-1.
Lebanon's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Estacada hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324.
