Given University School of Jackson's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while Tipton-Rosemark Academy is ranked 271st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Mills Terry was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Wallace Driver was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
University School of Jackson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
University School of Jackson won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sacred Heart of Jesus at 4:00 p.m. on January 27th. Sacred Heart of Jesus has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 617 points over their last nine contests. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
