The Randolph Southern Rebels were the 42-37 winner over the Shenandoah Raiders when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Randolph Southern fell to Shenandoah 40-35.
Several Rebels players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Haileigh Allen, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. Melody Black was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Shenandoah was led to victory by Grace Lee and Gabbi Patrick. Lee scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Patrick dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. Lee hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Randolph Southern's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Shenandoah, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
Randolph Southern will be playing at home against Blue River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Blue River Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Tuesday. As for Shenandoah, they will head out on the road to square off against Cowan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cowan has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30.
