Hamilton Christian is 1-7 against Gueydan since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday.  On the hitting side,  Grant Menard was  excellent,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Seth Ned, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, sadly, Gueydan is still looking for their first win of the season after ten  games. They suffered a  rough 14-2 defeat at the hands of Hanson Memorial  on Saturday.
 Hamilton Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Gueydan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
 Hamilton Christian couldn't quite finish off Gueydan in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023 and fell  5-3. Can Hamilton Christian avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
