Sarasota Military Academy has struggled against Imagine School at North Port recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Imagine School at North Port found their leader in underclassman Zahmir Jackson, who scored 20 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Jackson posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jj Hall, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Sarasota Military Academy bumped their record down to 2-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Imagine School at North Port, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
Sarasota Military Academy will head out on the road to face off against Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Community Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sarasota Military Academy in Florida (Community Christian is ranked 331st, while Sarasota Military Academy is ranked 781st). As for Imagine School at North Port, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lemon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Lemon Bay focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Monday.
