On Saturday Mitchell take on Douglass at 7:00 PM. Mitchell have seen their point totals decreasing over the past four games, a vulnerability Douglass are surely hoping to exploit.
Mitchell took a serious blow against North Panola last Saturday, falling 0-46. Mitchell were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-38.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 40 points the game before, Douglass faltered in their matchup last Thursday. They were given a punishing 0-49 defeat at the hands of Germantown. Douglass were down by 0-42 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
