The Elsberry Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bowling Green Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elsberry is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Elsberry proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 48) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against North Callaway and snuck past 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Elsberry has posted against the Thunderbirds since January 27, 2018.
Meanwhile, Bowling Green ended up a good deal behind the Warriors last Saturday and lost 60-46. Bowling Green has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Elsberry is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Bowling Green, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Everything went Elsberry's way against the Bobcats in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the Indians made off with a 69-45 victory. Does Elsberry have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
