Softball Recap: Culver City's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

After flying high against Beverly Hills last Thursday, Culver City came back down to earth. The Centaurs lost 11-1 to the Santa Monica Vikings on Tuesday. The Centaurs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Culver City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miami McRae, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Culver City's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Santa Monica, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

While Culver City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
