The West Lafayette Red Devils are taking a road trip to  square off against the Fountain Central Mustangs  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.

  Allison Creech and  Kerrigan Gooden stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Creech  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Gooden  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Fountain Central got the win against Traders Point Christian  on Thursday by a conclusive  23-1.
 Lillian Bennett made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. Bennett was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jacquelynn Weber, who  went 3-for-5 with five  RBI, three  runs,  and one  triple.  Mallory Massey was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-5.
 Fountain Central  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .675. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Traders Point Christian only posted  an  OBP of  .125.
