Amboy can  bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   14-10  win over the Polo Marcos. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Clippers considering their one-run performance the  matchup before.

 Brody Christoffersen made a splash no matter where he played. He  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. Christoffersen was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. He has become a key player for Amboy: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  three  RBI, but 5-7 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Rylan McNinch was  incredible,  going 1-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. Amboy is undefeated when  McNinch posts two or  more  runs, but 2-8 otherwise.  Dillon Merriman also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
Amboy's  victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-8. As for Polo, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
 Polo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  19-3  loss against Forreston on the 23rd. Hopefully Amboy paid attention to the Marcos'  game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Marcos  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
