After soaring high against Sasakwa last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Maud lost to Paoli by a decisive 16-34 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Maud of the 22-40 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.
The loss dropped Maud's record to 2-1. The win bumped Paoli's record up to 3-1.
Maud will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Yale. As for Paoli, they will face off against Webbers Falls. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
