Western has gone 8-1 against Taylor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Titans at 5:30 p.m. Western is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Western had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt North Miami on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 12-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Western got a massive performance out of Gavin Denton, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was Denton's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Rodman, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-3 to Eastern.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Western, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Everything went Western's way against Taylor in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Western made off with a 10-3 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
