The Lincoln Fighting Zebras were the 57-46 winner over the Nevada Union Miners when they last played one another on January 9th, but their luck changed this time around. Lincoln took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nevada Union on Friday. Lincoln has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lincoln lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Andrew Vocal, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Snyder, who scored 13 points.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Nevada Union, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-10.
Lincoln will take on Placer at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Placer presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lincoln in California (Placer is ranked 110th, while Lincoln is ranked 336th). As for Nevada Union, they will head out on the road to face off against West Park at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Park has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
