Despite the loss, Roanoke Rapids still got an impressive performance from Shaniah Daniels, who dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 12 rebounds, and ten blocks. Daniels is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last ten games she's played. Alexis Bednarczyk was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Northampton County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Roanoke Rapids, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Northampton County will look to defend their home court on Friday against Southeast Halifax at 6:00 p.m. Northampton County's defense has only allowed 27.6 points per game this season, so Southeast Halifax's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Roanoke Rapids, they will head out on the road to face off against Bunn at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Roanoke Rapids is facing Bunn at the right time seeing as Bunn is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
