First Assembly Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Harding Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, Harding Academy put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. George's 62-32 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Harding Academy has posted since December 7, 2023.

This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: First Assembly Christian have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 41.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Harding Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 31.2 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
First Assembly Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Harding Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 58-52 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for First Assembly Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
