Abell also tossed no walks, which is notable because Washington County is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-12 otherwise. Abell was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Anthony Taylor was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jontate Smith, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
