The West End Patriots were the 25-17 winner over the Glencoe Yellowjackets when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. West End was the victim of a rough 48-28 defeat at the hands of Glencoe on Friday. West End has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, West End had strong showings from Rocko Sainsbury, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown, and Triston Chaney, who picked up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Aaron Mann had an outrageously good game for Glencoe as he rushed for 169 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. Jayden Patton also helped out with an impressive 95 receiving yards.
West End's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Glencoe, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
West End will head out on the road to face off against Fyffe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fyffe will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. Glencoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
