The Alma Cardinals can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They put the hurt on Loomis with a sharp 49-27 victory. Winning may never get old, but Alma sure is getting used to it with their 12th in a row.
Alma's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addison Siebels, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Kamryn Scott was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.
Alma pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Loomis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Alma on the road again on Monday and play against Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Loomis, they will challenge Franklin on Tuesday. Franklin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last nine games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
