 On Obama Academy of International Studies' side,  Clark Ehman was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Chad Helwich, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 Carrick's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Obama Academy of International Studies,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-5.
 Carrick is on the road again  on Friday to play Woodland Hills at 4:00  p.m. Carrick is facing Woodland Hills at the right time seeing as Woodland Hills is stuck on  a  13-game losing streak. As for Obama Academy of International Studies, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Derry at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Derry is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.
