Coleville managed to slip by Virginia City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Coleville lost 22-14 to Virginia City on Saturday. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Leslie Acero was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while going 4-for-5. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Rhiannon French also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Even though they lost, Coleville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .535. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Coleville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Virginia City, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.
