Dayton's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Newport Wildcats. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Greendevils this season.

Dayton pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Newport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Dayton will face off against Newport Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newport, they will square off against Ludlow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
