Pasco (Dade City, Fla.) put up six points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 26-0 victory over
Wesley Chapel (Fla.).
After taking the lead on a
Malik Johns touchdown run in the first quarter, the Pirates led 14-0 at the half.
Pasco expanded its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. PHS scored once in the quarter on a
Benjamin Chandler touchdown pass to
Nate Craig.
The Dade City school's standout player in the win was Chandler. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown. He has now scored two touchdowns on the season.
A 57-12 Pasco victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
Wesley Chapel (1-4) goes up against Ridgewood in a 5A District 6 game matchup next week, while Pasco (5-0) locks horns with Hudson also in a 5A District 6 game.
