The Jac-Cen-Del Eagles posted their biggest victory yet this season on Saturday. They put the hurt on Waldron with a sharp 63-42 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Jac-Cen-Del has posted against Waldron since January 18, 2020.
Several Mohawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lucas Shaw, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Jones, who scored four points along with four steals.
The victory got Jac-Cen-Del back to even at 7-7. As for Waldron, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jac-Cen-Del's road trip will continue as they head out to face Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. As for Waldron, they will face off against Hauser at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hauser presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Waldron in Indiana (Hauser is ranked 122nd, while Waldron is ranked 357th).
