The Second Baptist Eagles can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They really took it to Fort Bend Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-16 win on the road. The win was familiar territory for Second Baptist who now have nine in a row.
Despite the defeat, Fort Bend Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Lizzie Hamilton scored five points along with seven rebounds.
Second Baptist is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 23-9 record this season. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
Second Baptist will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kelly Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 981st, while the Eagles are ranked 332nd). As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frassati Catholic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
