Granite Hills moved up to 826 from 856 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Desert Sky. The Cougars were able to move up by falling to Burroughs 28-14.
Silverado took down Sultana 32-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Pj Hanchett ran for 103 yards during the win.
The Hawks' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Sam Taylor threw for 184 yards and Mikeo Bonam had 69 yards receiving. On the ground Hanchett contributed 103 yards. Matt Holmes helped Silverado's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 51 yards.

The Burros' Ryan Sanford and Tyrone Jones led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Sanford has thrown for 1,031 yards this season, while Jones has 24 catches for 501 yards. christopher glick from Granite Hills leads the league in rushing with 603 yards.
Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when Burroughs' Jones goes up against Rafael Ginorio's team's Dana Jenkins.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when Todd Mather's team and the Hawks face off next week.
Next week's game between the Burros and Silverado will feature an aerial matchup as Sanford tests his arm against Jenkins' defensive ability.
As it stands, the Hawks are in first, while Burroughs is in third.
There should be lots of points scored when Silverado and the Burros face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Hawks comes in having scored 247 this season, while Burroughs has scored 167. Silverado scored 32 points last week as it beat Sultana.
