For the first time this season, South Lenoir will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Heide Trask Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
While South Lenoir's victory against North Lenoir wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils won by a run and slipped past the Hawks 10-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Jade Sasnett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, South Lenoir got a massive performance out of Rylan Wade, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that Wade has snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Weston, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
South Lenoir hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Heide Trask won against Wallace-Rose Hill last Wednesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Titans blew past South Columbus 12-1. The Titans have beaten the Stallions the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Stallions has come to flipping the script.
Dava Bullard made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Bullard was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Piper Nichols looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Heide Trask let Jalyn Reece-Murray and Taylor Sparkman run wild. Reece-Murray went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Sparkman went 2-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and two RBI. That's the most triples Sparkman has posted since back in March of 2025. Lauren Hall was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.
Heide Trask's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for South Lenoir, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
