Twiggs Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Hearts Academy at 7:30 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Twiggs Academy had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 7-54 to Vidalia Heritage Academy.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-80, which was the final score in Hearts Academy's tilt against Kings Way Christian School last Friday.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
