Saddleback Valley Christian had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. On Friday, they came up short against Northwood, falling 8-21. Saddleback Valley Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game, as Northwood apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time they met. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Saddleback Valley Christian off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Northwood a 1-0 record.
Next week, Saddleback Valley Christian take on Crean Lutheran at Portola HS at 7:00 PM. As for Northwood, they will face of against Los Osos.
